JSL from dos prompt - just display table and not main window?

Hi Folks,

I want to launch JMP with a given jsl script.  Within that jsl script is a command to open a jmp table.    Simple enough.

However, when I do this - the main JMP window also opens.   I don't want the main window to open.

I just want the table displayed.

And when the user saves and closes the table, I'd like JMP to exit.

Is there a way to do this either via the command line options or in the jsl script?

I am using JMP 10.

Jane

Dos command:

cmd /c start /wait jmp  -NoTip -NoSession -NoSplash "C:\exper.jsl"

JSL script  C:\exper.jsl contains

//!
Open("C:\testopen.jmp");

For anyone who has the same question in the future,  I have submitted to the JMP File Exchange an example of the solution to accomplish this task.

The title of which is Example: cmd line launch, table edit/close notify

Hope it proves useful to someone in the future.
