Hello,

i'd like to use JSL to Select Points Inside a density ellipse. These commands don't work:

biv = Bivariate(

Y( :YREL ),

X( :XREL ),

Density Ellipse( 0.5, {Line Color( {213, 72, 87} )})

);

repbiv = biv << report;

repbiv["Bivariate Normal Ellipse P=0.500"] << Select Points Inside;

If someone has an idea, thank you for your help...

Solution

Try:

biv << **(**Curve**[****1****]** << Select Points inside**)**;

If you have other fitted curves in the same graph you may need to use Curve[2], ocr Curve[3] etc. depending on the order in which they are drawn.
