JMP 12 JSL Not Showing Underscore Character

Since I started working with JMP 12 the underscore character (_) doesn't show up in my JSL code.  I can't seem to find where in preferences this might be controlled. Are others having this same issue or is it something I can enable in Preferences?

We had a problem like that during development of JMP 12 but we thought we had it fixed.

Are you on Windows or Mac? Look at your font preferences. What is your Mono font?

If you reset your fonts to the defaults, do you get better results?

Hi Jeff,

I'm on Windows and the Mono font listed is Courier New, 10 Point.  All other fonts are Seqoe UI. Resetting to Defaults sets Mono to Consolas, 10 Point and this font properly shows the underscore.  Yay for proper display!  Would be great to be able to display it in Courier New.  I tested several other fonts besides Consolas and they properly displayed the underscore, so it appears that the issue may be with just Courier New, and possibly a limited set of other fonts.

Yep, I'm seeing the same thing with Courier New.

I've reported it to our development team. We'll see if we can get it fixed in a future maintenance release.

Sorry for the difficulty and confusion.

No worries Jeff,

Glad to know it was an issue and not my improper usage of JMP.
