Hello,

I have a dataset of chemical analyses (and their independent analytical errors) that I need to plot as simple XY scatter plots. Is it possible to add error bars to each datapoint that correspond to error data in separate columns? So basically for every plot I have 2 data columns and 2 separate error columns (for X and Y, respectively), with each line corresponding to one sample. In Excel I can just define a range of data as X or Y errors, does a similar option exist in jmp as well? Or if it doesn't, is there some workaround?

Cheers,

TF

Re: JMP 10 error bars question

Post the file so that I can take a look at it. There maybe a way of doing it using the graph builder
