Is there a way to set an "american" version of JMP so it reads "European" date formats automatically?

I am working on a project and receiving large files with data in d/m/y hh:mm:ss format. JMP is reading them in American m/d/y hh:mm:ss format. Is there a global "Preferences" switch in JMP that will allow me to read them automatically?

Hi James,

Select your date column and from the Cols menu select column info.

Here you can set the format and informat for the date to be as you wish.  Select the drop-down for the Format and select Time and then select d/m/y h:m:s.
