Is it possible to have a non interactive web report?

Hello everybody,

I wonder if it is possible to create a non-interactive web report. In other words I don't want my data to be embedded in the html.

With one report we can choose between "html file" and "interactive html with data". Do we have a similar option with web report?

Thanks

Solution

There is no option in Create Web Report to produce static HTML files rather than Iteractive HTML files.

If you are willing to manually replace one or more files in the generated _html5 folder with a static HTML file, you can do so by:

  1. using File>Save As (Windows) or File>Export(Mac) with the JMP report
  2. choose "HTML File"
  3. navigate to the previously generated "_html" folder
  4. click on the file you would like to replace to load its file name
  5. click "Save" - you should get a popup dialog asking if you want to replace the file - choose "Yes".
  6. test out the web reports in a browser to make sure they have become static
