IF statement with formulae

So I would like to have a IF statement like "If( :DISPENSESPEED == 1550,
Maximum( :R029, :R030, :R031, :R032, :R033, :R034, :R035, :R036, :R037, :R038 ) * 1000,
"N/A"
)"

So when the value in column :DISPENSESPEED is 1550 it will then give the max value of the indicated columns (:R029 to :R038 times 1000).  If however the DISPENSESPEED is not 1550 it will be blank.  Its late I am not getting it...any thoughts?  I think it is because the column type is not numeric continous..so how to change that?

THank you

Re: IF statement with formulae

If( :DISPENSESPEED == 1550,
Maximum( :R029, :R030, :R031, :R032, :R033, :R034, :R035, :R036, :R037, :R038 ) * 1000,
""
)
the result of it not being 1550 would give a blank and not characters...

Re: IF statement with formulae

@UberBock ,
       You are on the right track.

If( :DISPENSESPEED == 1550,
        // then
	Maximum( :R029, :R030, :R031, :R032, :R033, :R034, :R035, :R036, :R037, :R038 ) * 1000

       ,
       //else
	.   // symbolizes missing value
  );
