Hello,

I really like the way JMP presents the results; however, I would like to know if there is a way to remove tle red letters in the prediction profiler, please seee the example

Best regards

Re: How to remove letter or number from prediction profiler

The

Report( fm )["Prediction Profiler"]………………...

is a pointer to the output from the Fit Model Platform.  What you missed, is that "fm" is set with

fm = Fit Model(
Y( :Name( "Tool temperature [C]" ) ),
……...

Take a look at the script I provided, and you will see how "fm" was specified there.  Documentation on all of this is available in the Scripting Guide

Re: How to remove letter or number from prediction profiler

Right click on the value and select "Cut"

From a JSL example, here is a script that deletes the values

names default to here(1);
dt=open("$SAMPLE_DATA/Aircraft Incidents.jmp");
fm = Fit Model(
	Y( :Total Fatal Injuries ),
	Effects( :Event Date, :Latitude, :Longitude ),
	Personality( "Standard Least Squares" ),
	Emphasis( "Minimal Report" ),
	Run(
		Profiler(
			1,
			Confidence Intervals( 1 ),
			Term Value(
				Event Date( 3077252000, Lock( 0 ), Show( 1 ) ),
				Latitude( 37.713, Lock( 0 ), Show( 1 ) ),
				Longitude( -98.02, Lock( 0 ), Show( 1 ) )
			)
		),
		:Total Fatal Injuries << {Summary of Fit( 1 ), Analysis of Variance( 1 ),
		Parameter Estimates( 1 ), Scaled Estimates( 0 ),
		Plot Actual by Predicted( 0 ), Plot Regression( 0 ),
		Plot Residual by Predicted( 0 ), Plot Studentized Residuals( 0 ),
		Plot Effect Leverage( 0 ), Plot Residual by Normal Quantiles( 0 ),
		Box Cox Y Transformation( 0 )}
	)
);

report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(3)]<<delete;
report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(2)]<<delete;
report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(1)]<<delete;

Re: How to remove letter or number from prediction profiler

Open a Script Window

     File==>New==>Script

The cut and paste the script from my last response into the window.  Then click on the pull down menu

     Edit==>Run Script

Re: How to remove letter or number from prediction profiler

I still have see the values

Fit Model(
Y( :Name( "Tool temperature [C]" ) ),
Effects(
:Tool type,
:Name( "Width of cut [mm]" ),
:Name( "Cutting speed [m/min]" ),
:Name( "Feed per tooth [mm/tooth]" )
),
Personality( "Standard Least Squares" ),
Emphasis( "Minimal Report" ),
Run(
Profiler(
1,
Confidence Intervals( 1 ),
Desirability Functions( 0 ),
Name( "Tool temperature [C]" ) <<
Response Limits(
{Lower( 0, 1 ), Middle( 87.5, 1 ), Upper( 175, 1 ), Goal( "None" ),
Importance( 1 )}
)

),
:Name( "Tool temperature [C]" ) << {Summary of Fit( 1 ),
Analysis of Variance( 1 ), Parameter Estimates( 1 ), Lack of Fit( 0 ),
Scaled Estimates( 0 ), Plot Actual by Predicted( 0 ), Plot Regression( 0 ),
Plot Residual by Predicted( 0 ), Plot Studentized Residuals( 0 ),
Plot Effect Leverage( 0 ), Plot Residual by Normal Quantiles( 0 ),
Box Cox Y Transformation( 0 )}
)
);

report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(4)]<<delete;
report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(3)]<<delete;
report(fm)["Prediction Profiler"][NumberEditBox(2)]<<delete;

Re: How to remove letter or number from prediction profiler

I found a better solution and was easier

SendToReport(
Dispatch(
{"Response Tool temperature [C]", "Prediction Profiler"},
"N",
TextBox,
{Hide( 1 )}
),
Dispatch(
{"Response Tool temperature [C]", "Prediction Profiler"},
"1",
TextBox,
{Hide( 1 )}
),
Dispatch(
{"Response Tool temperature [C]", "Prediction Profiler"},
"50",
TextBox,
{Hide( 1 )}
),
Dispatch(
{"Response Tool temperature [C]", "Prediction Profiler"},
"0.05",
TextBox,
{Hide( 1 )}
)
)
);
Thanks
