How to extract x ,y coordinate from string

Hello

 

i have list of coordinate  ( X,Y) which i want to have in one column X value and second Colum Y value

X and Y can be 1 of 2 dig and +/-

The best way to do this is to use the Word() function

Create your new column and then use this as the formula for the column, to get the X value

Num( Word( 1, <:Coordinate Column Name>, "," ) );

For the Y column, just change the "1" to "2"

Without scripting or formulas...

 

Try, Cols Menu tab, Utilities, Text to Columns, add "," as a delimiter
