How to do a routine data import from data base and running JMP script

Hi Does anyone know if the JMP supports routine import of data from a data base? We are interested in daily import of data and than running a script on the data in an automatic manner. Currently this a general question, we have two JMP users in our organization, it seems like more people are interstred and a routine reporting is one of the functions they want to have. Thanks

This is very easy to do using the Query Builder: https://www.jmp.com/support/help/14/query-builder.shtml (keep clicking on the next button to reveal more details of the query builder after clicking on the link). Query Builder creates the sql query for importing your data and provides the option of adding a post query script to deliver the summary reports you need. You can then provide these as an application for routine off-line engineering analysis reporting to your colleagues. You may also want to explore use of the Dashboard Builder to deliver the engineering reports needed and you will be able to get an idea of what is possible with the dashboard builder by watching one or more of the videos in this webcast series: https://www.jmp.com/en_gb/events/ondemand/explorers/best-practices-for-dashboard-building.html
