How to calculate confident interval for each predicted value of a spline fit?

Hello everyone,

I am using JMP7 and want to calculate some confident interval for a spline fit. I saw that the option is not available for spline fit. Is there a way that I am not aware of?

I also tried to do so with a polynomial regression, the confident interval is available for the plot with really nice lines or shaded zones, however extract each confident intervall for every predicted values of the equation is impossible. Well I did not find how to do it.

Is anyone have a clue about this? It would really help me a lot!

Have a good night!

I don't believe that JMP offers any confidence intervals for spline fits.

For saving the confidence intervals for predicted values you'll have to use the Fit Model platform to fit the model with the polynomial term. There you can save the confidence interval for mean and the individual.

Ok, super! the 3rd link seems to indicate the way I would use.

Thanks
