How to Join tables

Hello,

I have 2 JMP tables I want to join them. In each tables, I have exclueded and hided a few rows. When I did join, the excluded/hided rows were showing in the joined table, which is something I don't want. Does anyone know how to join 2 tables and do not include the excluded rows?

Thank you so much in advance.

Re: How to Join tables

The way to do this is to subset the data tables prior to joining them, first selecting all of the rows that have not been hidden and/or excluded. Then join the subsetted tables.

Re: How to Join tables

Thank you for the responce. Yes, this work-around works. However, it will just make the header name longer after join due to subset is added to filename of subsetted tables
