## How do i assign the values in a column to a List

In thh below code I would like to assign the column values from CMOS-Lot-Wafer to a list (ageList) and then retrive the  values in the List during teh next part of my code.

``````dt1 = Data Table( "Wafer List" ) << Stack(
columns( :Name( "Group A - Wafer Number" ), :Name( "Group B - Wafer Number" ) ),
Source Label Column( "Label" ),
Stacked Data Column( "CMOS-Lot-Wafer" ),
Output Table( "Stacked-waferList" )
);
ageList = dt1:CMOS_Lot - Wafer << get values; // This way of assigning teh List does not seem to work)
dt = New SQL Query(
Version( 130 ),
Connection(
"ODBC:DSN=MS_SQL;Description=WAFER;Trusted_Connection=Yes;APP=JMP;WSID=UCC-2258JVJR2;DATABASE=IA253;"
),
QueryName( "Big_Class" ),
Select( Column( "CHECK AXOUTPUT", "t1" ), Column( "CMOS_Lot-WaferID", "t1" ) ),
From( Table( "WS_Tests", Alias( "t1" ) ) ),
Where(
In List(
Column( "CMOS_Lot-WaferID", "t1" ),
ageList,
UI( SelectListFilter( ListBox, Base( "Categorical" ) ) )
)
)
) << Run;``````
Thanks
## Re: How do i assign the values in a column to a List
``ageList = dt1:Name("CMOS_Lot-WaferID") << get values;``
You need to use the :Name() function because the column name contains special characters that JMP will interpret as calculations rather than a column name.
Jim
``ageList = dt1:Name("CMOS_Lot-WaferID") << get values;``
