How do I Graph All Months with No Data for Some Months?

Version - jmp 12

Intent - Graph (X-Y, Dist etc) qty per month, including months with no qty

Data example - Qty Sold

Item            Yr-Mo         Qty

  AA          2018-01          5

  BB          2018-01          2

  CC          2018-01          5

  AA          2018-02          6

  CC          2018-02          4

  AA          2018-04          3

  BB          2018-04          7

The question is - How do I show 2018-01 2018-02 2018-03 etc on the x-axis even if there was no qty for every month?  If this is answered prior, please let me know where as I did not find an answer.

Thank you

Re: How do I Graph All Months with No Data for Some Months?

If you enter in the data using a valid JMP Date column, and specify that m/y is the format to use....see attached data table, the graph will include the missing months on the axismonthyear.GIF

Re: How do I Graph All Months with No Data for Some Months?

Thank you, that seemed to work.

For reference, is it possible to use Yr/Mo as a date?

If you look at the Date formats that are available, you will see there is an m/y format. There is also a y/m/d format. There does not seem to be a y/m format for output.
