Re: How can I change the Page Column in a Tabulate via script

Hi,

Probably there is an easier way to do this, but here's what I was able to come up with:

When you open the Control Panel for Tabulate, there is a ComboBox that allows you to select the page from the page column.  This is ComboBox(1).  One way to do what you're asking is to change the index of the ComboBox to correspond to :pagegroup(2): Report(Tobj)[ComboBox(1)]<<set(3) //presumably the index is "3".  Before you do this you need to open the control panel, so the full script would be something like:

Tobj<<Show Control Panel;
Report(Tobj)[ComboBox(1)]<<set(3);
Tobj<<Show Control Panel(0);

Please try this and see if it can work for you.

Hi Hadley,

Yes it works – thanks very much – In the beginning I didn’t recognize that we were talking about an index and 1 is ‘non selected’
