How Do I change the content of the column header to today's date with Script

Hi,

 

Is there a way to change the column header to today's date with JMP Script?

Solution

I suggest you read the Scripting Guide, and familiarize yourself with the Scripting Index.  Your request has an easy solution, once  you become familiar with the breadth of functions etc.

     Help==>Books==>Scripting Guide

     Helpo==>Books==>Scripting Index

Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA\big class.jmp" );
dt:name << set name( Format( Today(), "m/d/y" ) );
