When I create a Bar Chart with Graph Builder, how do I make the chart show the bars in ascending or descending order?

Thanks for the help!

Steve

I think the answer depends on how, exactly, you want to define the ordering.

See http://blogs.sas.com/content/jmp/2011/08/25/ordering-categorical-graph-elements/, and also the section 'Example of Ordering Variables Using a Second Variable' at http://www.jmp.com/support/help/Additional_Examples_Using_Graph_Builder.shtml.

Thanks, Ian! Very helpful. One caveat: You must select the order statistic (N, Sum, Mean, etc.) in two places; The left side of the Graph Builder report AND you have to right click the categorical axis and select the same statistic.
