^-^)/ Hi all ~~ I need your help~!

I would like to know about JMP formula.

I knew "col sum by category1" formula as below.

**Col Sum(:data, :category 1)**

However, how can I use **col sum formula by caregory 1 & 2** ??

I would like to use formula function only, not tablate funtion.

I appreciate your advice in advance

example below

for Col sum (by category1 & category2)

category 1 | category 2 | data | Col sum (by category1 & category2) |

1 | A | 2 | 2+1 = 3 |

1 | A | 1 | 2+1 = 3 |

1 | B | 2 | 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 |

1 | B | 2 | 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 |

1 | B | 3 | 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 |

2 | A | 2 | 2 + 3 = 5 |

2 | A | 3 | 2 + 3 = 5 |

2 | B | 4 | 4 + 5 + 5 = 14 |

2 | B | 5 | 4 + 5 + 5 = 14 |

2 | B | 5 | 4 + 5 + 5 = 14 |

Solution

You can put more than one ByVariable argument in the Col Sum function:

**Col Sum(:data, :category 1, :category 2)**
