Evaluating a String Expression- getting rid of the " " around text values

Hi,

I am trying to script a control chart with different trend rules that are flagged designated earlier in the code. I created a variable for the rules which leaves them in quotes " " when I evaluate it in a later expression. I was wondering if anyone knew how to work around this issue?

Code:

Tests = "Test 1 (1), Test 2(1)";

IR=Insert(Expr(Individual Measurement()), Eval Expr(Tests));

Charcol= Insert(Expr(Chart Col(:Name( "Bioassay IC50 ( pM )" ))), Name Expr(IR));

ccexpr = Expr( Control Chart( Sample Label( :Date Analyzed ), Group Size( 1 ), KSigma( 3 ),) );

cc=Insert(Name Expr(ccexpr), Name Expr(Charcol));
cc;

Where Bioassay is the y variable and data analyzed is the x label on the graph.  Thanks!

If you change the Tests literal string to a List, your code will work

Tests = {Test 1 (1), Test 2(1)};
