Doubts about how to report some parameters from a simple/multiple regression

Hi,

I use JMP Basic and I need to report some parameters from a simple/multiple regression based on the JMP Fit Model report:

B     SE (B)     Effect-size     Delta (R^2)     Power

where

B = unstandardised regression coefficient

SE(B) = standard error of B

How can I find out them, please?

Thank you.

Re: Doubts about how to report some parameters from a simple/multiple regression

In the Fit Model dialog, you can uncheck the "Center Polynomials" option.  I think that's what you meant by "unstandardized" coefficients.

Delta for calculating power is whatever you decide it is (though I don't know what you mean with the R^2 in parentheses).  It is the effect size you want to be able to detect.  You can use the Evaluate Design platform to get a power analysis.  Delta would be the coefficient size you input in that platform.

Re: Doubts about how to report some parameters from a simple/multiple regression

Hi @cwillden,

I don't think so because the parameter estimates are the same.

As an example, this link shows those parameters in APA-format. I need to complete my regression table in that format.

Perhaps I typed wrong. Please consider Delta R^2.

Thanks.
