Hello,

I am trying to find a way to display the value associated with the Grand Median to the right of my plot, similar to the way Grand Mean does. Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks,

Hello,

I don'y know if it's a solution for you but i'm used to do this :

- Click right in the variability Chart (the frame box) and then click Customize

- Add a new script containing :

valmed = Col Quantile( :Name( "YOURCOLNAME" ),0.5 );

Text( Right Justified, {2, valmed}, "GdMed="||Char( valmed ) );

The value will be displayed in the frame box, you can manually re-size it to adapt and see all correctly.

In my case i had only 2 groups, that's why the first number of {2, valmed} is 2. You can adapt it to your case to keep the value on the right.

Thank you for your help Carole.

I managed to get this code to execute, but it wasnt exactly what I was looking for. The code you posted above does display the median, but I couldn't get the text to display outside the chart area. I was looking for something like what JMP does when you enable the Grand Mean, which shows the numeric value to the right of the chart.

I managed to find the median of my data and added the text box manually after the chart was generated. Not the most graceful, but it works.
