Decision Tree

Hi,

I am a novice when it comes to using sas jump. Is it possible to create a decision tree with more than 2 splits?? I DO NOT want to create a binary tree. Thanks.

From the multiple splits, you can still see more than binary segmenting. For instance:
Split 1: 1-5, 6-10
Split 2: 1-5 become 1-3, 4-5
Split 3: 6-10 become 6-7, 8-10

You will end up with 1-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-10
Alternatively, depending on judgment, you can aggregate 4-7 to form one segment.

May i know what are you using Decision tree for? I'd like to explore this function more. I'm using it for sales analysis.
A JMP partition is only a binary tree. There is no option for a tree with multiple trunks.
