Are there folks available willing to consult on DSD analysis? I could use some assistance.

Thanks

Richard

Re: DSD Analysis Consultation

Could you please be more specific on what your definition of DSD Analysis is?

Re: DSD Analysis Consultation

Definiative Screening Design.

We've run a small experiment and have the various responses. I'm

relatively new to using JMP and trying to understand how to analyze the

DSD. I have the DSD add-in from Dr. Jones which was used to create the

design. The analysis of the design in order to generate a response

profiler is what I was after.

Hope that answers your question.

I'd start by plotting the responses vs. factors in a Fit Y by X mode. Distributions of the responses might also help. A run chart of the responses in experimental execution order might tell you if some lurking variable hit at some point in experimental execution. Then onto modeling. I suggest using the Fit Model platform as the one stop shopping hub for analyzing your experiment. All the modeling personalities there have prediction profilers embedded into them.

Re: DSD Analysis Consultation

Hi Peter_Bartell,

I was trying to use the Fit Model Platform but I saw that the platform analyzes my 4 response individually, how do i combine all the model together so that I have the model predicting the 4 response together with the 4 factors that I have.

Re: DSD Analysis Consultation

I do not know of a way to combine the four responses unless you have a super function that is a linear combination of the original responses.

I will assume that you mean to simulataneously optimize the four responses. I recommend that you select the best model separately for each response, then save the estimated model (red triangle > Save Columns > Save Prediction Model). When you have saved all four models, select Graph > Profiler. Select the four new data columns with the formulas.

Learn it once, use it forever!

Hi Richard. Were you looking for paid consultation to work with you through the analysis or simply some advice on where to start?
