Collapse empty charts while using "by" and excluding rows

Hi,

Is there any way to remove/collapse/hide empty charts due to the excludings?

In the following example, I would like the outline of age=14 to be collapsed automatically if the user excludes all rows of age 14.

The exclude may occur by Row Filter or manually, on column of age or any other columns.

I've tried to loop over all frame boxes and collapse if it doesn't have points.

It doesnt work because I use Row State Handler and the charts are refreshed AFTER the handler runs.

Thank you.

Re: Collapse empty charts while using "by" and excluding rows

This is some unexpected behavior.

From a scripting perspective, I might try to force the platform to delete, and then regenerate it each time the filter changes, or something like that.

I'm going to pass this question to support@jmp.com

Thank you.

Actually, that was my final solution as well -

recreating the charts with filter handler.

Some simple option of "hide empty charts" would be a right way to do it.

That's definitely a weird behavior. I tinkered around for about an hour to find a "quick" and easy work around. Glad you came up with a solution.
