Can web reports have interactive buttons with logic behind them?

I have a journal that is able to get inputs from the user via buttons but I can't figure out how to get buttons working on web reports. The button shows up on the html page but it seems like there is no code saved behind a button press when it is on the web report. Is this possible on JMP?

Thanks for your help.

No, interactive HTML cannot run JSL.  Right now, the most functional web reports you can get would be with JMP Live or JMP Public, which has the JMP analytics engine under the hood, but even that cannot run JSL right now.
