How do i get the graph only, removing [fit mean,parameter estimates,linear fit] part and append it to powerpoint?

Re: Append Graph only

The global rule in JMP, is that when copying the results from a platform, only the "open" Outline Boxes will be copied.  Therefore, if you collapse the Outline Boxes and then save to pptx, you will get

thepptx.PNG

You can also use the selection tool and select the sections of the output you want

thepptx2.PNG

input CNTL/J to copy it to a journal

thepptx3.PNG

and then save it to pptx

Both of these methods can also be done in JSL if that is the route you need to take.

Re: Append Graph only

I strongly suggest that you take the time to read the Scripting Guide from the JMP Documentation Library

     Help==>JMP Documentation Library

The sections on Display Trees will show you the methods of manipulating the JMP platform output.

Here is an example closing the Outline Boxes and saving the output to pptx.

names default to here(1);

dt = open("$SAMPLE_DATA/big class.jmp");

biv = dt << Bivariate(
	Y( :height ),
	X( :weight ),
	Fit Mean( {Line Color( "Medium Dark Red" )} ),
	Fit Line( {Line Color( "Medium Dark Green" )} )
);

bivr = report(biv);

bivr["Fit Mean"] << close(1);
bivr["Linear Fit"] << close(1);

bivr << save presentation("$TEMP/your presentation.pptx");

To do this using a copy to a Journal of just the graph, here is an example

names default to here(1);

dt = open("$SAMPLE_DATA/big class.jmp");

biv = dt << Bivariate(
	Y( :height ),
	X( :weight ),
	Fit Mean( {Line Color( "Medium Dark Red" )} ),
	Fit Line( {Line Color( "Medium Dark Green" )} )
);

bivr = report(biv);

nw = New Window("My Journal", << Journal);

bivr[PictureBox(1)] << journal;

nw << save presentation("$TEMP/your presentation.pptx");

All of the functions used in the above examples are documented with examples in the Scripting Index, along with @markbailey example.  The Scripting Index is the tool that needs to be referenced for any scripting activity

Re: Append Graph only

You could get a clone of the picture box display object and append that to another container display box for saving to PowerPoint document.

Learn it once, use it forever!
