3D BoxPlot or similar?

I have xyz data for graphing with numerous samples n[x,y,z]. The goal is to show the contour and second to show the spread for the points. Is there such a thing as a 3D boxplot? Maybe it's better to do a separate contour plot and then a boxplot for the peaks but I was wondering if there's a better way to visualize the key data for my presentations.

Re: 3D BoxPlot or similar?

Have you seen the Scatterplot 3D platform? You can create shells to represent a proportion of the data. You can rotate the plot to see different perspectives.

See Help > JMP Documentation Library > Essential Graphing > Scatterplot 3D chapter for more information and examples.
