Or should we say, welcome to the redesigned JMP User Community.
The JMP User Community has always been the place to connect with JMP users from around the world. What started as a part of the SAS Support Communities then branched out on its own to community.jmp.com. Over that time we've seen thousands of new members who have asked questions and shared knowledge, contributed extensions to JMP in File Exchange and discovered great presentations from the Discovery Summit Series.
To take the JMP User Community to the next level, we have upgraded our communities platform and redesigned the site. Our new environment will help you to:
- Find correct information faster with intuitive searches
- Connect with your peers
- Share what you know with others
You’ll notice some immediate benefits of our new site:
- A quality mobile experience
- A new system of ranks and badges that reward you for contributions to the community
- Better SPAM filters, keeping the noise level down so you can enjoy the good content
If you have used community.jmp.com in the past, you’ll notice that our new site has some new behaviors and features. There’s a new ranking structure (for those of you who keep track) and some new terminology, and we’ve added some cool new badges.
Over the next few months we'll be adding some other new features like a JMP Knowledge Base where JMP super users can share their expertise, and we'll be moving the JMP Blog into the Community to make all that great content accessible in one place.
We're still putting some touch-up paint in places after the renovation. If you find something in need of attention, or if you have a complaint or more importantly, a compliment, please post it in the Community Matters forum. That's the place we'll be fielding questions and comments about the JMP User Community itself.
I'll look forward to seeing you around the Community.
