Essentials of Designing Experiments

JMP® is statistical discovery software from the SAS® Institute. JMP® data analysis software provides scientists, engineers and analysts with a highly visual and interactive tool to explore data and design experiments to solve problems. Design of experiments can be used to improve products and processes by identifying the factors that are important. Unlike studying one factor at a time, with a limited number of trials, you can learn a lot about a process.

View this webcast, to learn about classical design of experiments and the general steps for how to conduct a designed experiment, including:

- Describe response and factors.
- Specify the model.
- Generate and evaluate the design.
- Conduct the experiment.
- Fit the model and predict performance.
