It sounds to me like the scanner software is set up differently on different users' computers. There should be an option to "append Enter" after each scan. If that option is not enabled on a system, it would explain the failure to go to the next row after a scan.

The attachment '.jmp' document shows OK or NG with formulas, but the JMP table can't auto-wrap to the next row(use the Scan gun scanning can wrap to the next row in Excel ). So I want to use JSL to create a Sorting window, details as the attachment picture shows. Expect the master to help, thank you!

If you press Enter after filling in cell (or press down arrow), JMP (at least JMP18) should move to next row and I would guess you can configure reader to send this as a message?

Thanks! JMP PRO 18 can move to next row, but some user's version is 16 or 17. So need a JSL for support.

I checked back to JMP 11 and seemed to have the same behavior as JMP 18
