Weird. With the example spreadsheet, the columns are correct, with the exact same settings I was using before. I went back to my spreadsheet and unmerged and then merged the columns headings again. And it worked on that version of the file. There must be an issue with how the instrument formats the software which was causing issues.

I have a spreadsheet with multiple analytes formatted as the example below. The analyte identification is two merged cells, and below is the well # and the final concentration. When importing I need the column names to be "Analyte - Well" and "Analyte - Final", but it's just showing as "Analyte - Well" and "Final". How do I get the merged heading to show on the second column as well? I thought " Replicate Headers in Spanned Rows" in the Excel wizard under advanced settings would do so but it's not working , even when I identify two rows of headers.

Using JMP 16.2 on Windows 11 I created a spreadsheet

With the A1 value (Header) merged and centered across A1-B1.

Using the Excel Wizard, I simply specified the Column Headers starting in row 1 and the Number of rows with column headers as 2 and finally the Data Starts on row 3

Clicking on the Import button I got

I have attached the Excel file. Try using it and see if you get what I got.
