    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to test the parallelism between two 4pl curves but I do not understand what the difference is between the F test and the Chi square test? The F test provides a p-value that is superior to 0.05 while the chi-square test does the opposite.       <description>&lt;P&gt;The two tests are provided for historical consistency. The basis for each test is described in the &lt;A href="https://www.jmp.com/support/help/en/18.0/#page/jmp/test-parallelism.shtml#" target="_self"&gt;Fit Curve documentation&lt;/A&gt;. They are different tests, so they will likely yield different &lt;EM&gt;p&lt;/EM&gt;-values.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Statistical errors &lt;A href="https://www.jmp.com/support/help/en/18.0/#page/jmp/equivalence-test.shtml#" target="_self"&gt;are considered&lt;/A&gt; in the equivalence test.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
