Hi,

Have you considered the following approach:

Assign the column "Birth" as Label

Select the one case as you described

Right-click on the selected point, go to Rows > Select Matching Cells

You can experiment with choosing more than one column as a Label to expand the Matching Cell Selection Criteria.

Best,

I am looking on some helps on dynamic selection based on directly pointing into a graph.
In the example below, when I point a 182 cm height Boy in Class2 I would like to have all people born in the same year (ie :1977 - the best) automatically highlighted.
Do you, by chance, have an idea for that ?

Thanks,
Alexis

Doing it like @Thierry_S is a good option. If you really want, you could add a button to perform this action.

Row states is one option of doing this automatically, but you will very quickly end up in a loop: select one value -> select other values based on condition -> AH! we selected new values -> we must again selected based on the condition -> ....

Thanks jthi !

You are right. Does it mean that I have to create a script and assign it to a button ? No experience at all with JMP Script. Do you have a quick suggestion for that : empty script sheet afraid me...
Thanks
