JMP Alert Could not find succicient number of points

Hello,

I wonder if somebody has encountered similar issue and have a way around it.

You responses / comments /suggestions / critique are very much appreciated!

I am using regular JMP 17 (not PRO).
I am trying to create a space filling design with 14 factors. Some are continuous, some are discrete numeric, some are categorical. There are 5 disallowed combinations.

When I put everything in, only "Fast Flexible Filling" design is available. When I try to use it, it replies:
"JMP Alert Could not find sufficient number of point"
This happens regardless of the number of points I specify.

To make sure that I don't over constrain the problem, I generated the "Custom" design with all the same factors and disallowed combinations. And even the same number of points. - No problem here! (Of course I had to specify the model, for which I used Quadratic RSM). I was able to generate I,A,D, and Alias - optimal designs.

My 2 questions are:
1) Why Space filling design is not working in the situation where Custom designs are working well

2) Is there any way around this problem for space filling design?
