Concerning issues with interactive HTML and filters, most of the post refer to the issue that a Local Data filter is disables - with the easy solution: disable Include mode.

There is a similar issue with "filter by" or "filter + 1 dashboard", where one graph is used to filter the other graphs in the Dashboard.

In this post:

@John_Powell_JMP provided a workaround:
replace the selection graph with a local data filter and disable include mode.

Till 2020, selection filters have not been implemented in Interactive HTML. Therefore, a request was added for the feature request being used internally to track it.

Is it now possible to use selection filters in interactive HTML?

Hi @hogi ,

The answer is no, but I will interpret your inquiry as an additional vote in the internal wish list to implement this capability in Interactive HTML in a future version of JMP.

The selection filter capability does not have a show mode like the local data filter. It is designed to include the rows selected by the graph used as a selection filter in other graphs shown in the dashboard. There will not be a mode that you can change to make it possible to support in stand-alone Interactive HTML files. It will require a server to process the inclusions/exclusions. This means that when made available, it will only function in JMP Live.
