FTIR spectroscopic analysis comparison

Hi,

I am doing FTIR analysis and would like to compare FTIR spectrum plot with many peaks of the reference to another sample one. the goal is to find new peaks that appear in the sample material. is there any way to do it automatically in JMP?

When you say automatically....do you mean automatically create the chart with the FTIR spectrum and the reference or do you mean, automatically find the new peaks?

Automatically creating the charts should be easy. Automatically finding the new peaks requires the knowledge of the rules as to what defines a new peak.

thanks @txnelson creating chart is really easy. you got my point i would like jmp to assist in finding the peaks and especially the new peaks (related to referance)
