The confidence interval width represents the uncertainty in the estimate of the variance. A larger sample reduces the uncertainty and shrinks the width. A smaller sample increases the uncertainty and expands the width.

Hi All,

Within the DOE menu, if l select Sample Size Explorers - Confidence Intervals and Margin of Error for one Sample Variance, when i change the sample size the interval width changes, but what is the interval width telling me?

Thanks

Mick.
