I have JMP data table with data from several parts for which a Capacitance 'C' has been measured as a function of reverse voltage 'V' (0 to -5 V in -0.1V step).

A plot of [1/C]^2 vs V has a linear part for small reverse bias (say from 0 V to -0.5V and data is available at 0, -0.1, -0.2, -03, -0.4 -0.5 V within this range).

How to do a linear fit to the points between 0 to -5V for each part, extract the x- & y-intercept and then populate in a new column with the two extracted values (preferably adjacent in the first two measured voltage values for each part)?

I would like to do this using a script but would also like to know if this is possible to interactively. I am on JMP13.

Thanks.
