Hi,

It would help the JMP Community to help you if you could provide a bit more detail. I understand that you have 2 samples of Poisson-distributed data (probably counts of something). What do you want to test? A difference in the mean between the 2 samples?

It is really helpful if you can provide some example data to illustrate your question.

I would like to know how to calculate a difference in rates between the 2 samples (2 sample poisson rate). Please include assumptions and conditions as well as hypotheses for any sample data that you can. Thanks
