Importing excel data and refreshing contents

Hi Experts,

Is there a way in JMP to import csv/excel file and then refresh the contents on the same data table (not to generate a new datatable).

I'm hesitant to say its impossible, because some super JSL guru could have figured it out, but there aren't any straightforward methods of editing data in an excel or CSV table without generating a new table in JMP.
