JMP15 vs JMP16 speed

We have number of scripts that are running scheduled nightly. One of the scripts is processing high number of files. Previously, it was processing around 6 files per minute on JMP 15. When we switched to JMP16, it started processing only ~3 files per minute. So overall run time increased from 6 hours to 12 hours. which in our case is unacceptable. We have already unchecked the hardware acceleration in JMP 16 Windows Specific preferences - no change. Any suggestion on what might be the root cause and how to speed up the scripts rather than go back to JMP 15?

Huge amount of log output? try switching the log mode back to text rather than enhanced.
