Dashboards taking too long to create and edit

I am using JMP-Pro 15.1 and building dashboards using the existing templates seems to be taking a really long time on my computer compared to the JMP demonstration videos I have watched where the presenters seem to be breezing through the dashboard building process. As an example, when I open a template and try to drop in plots, there is a significant lag and it takes several seconds for JMP to then show me where I can drop the graph. Once I do this and click "run", it again takes a long time to launch the dashboard. Even when I try to "Edit" existing dashboards, it takes more than minute for the template to open.

Once I create the dashboards though and save it as a script, launching and navigating the dashboard to interactively mine the data is very fast which makes it such an attractive feature.

What am I doing wrong?
