The default analysis for Analyze > Multivariate Methods > Principal Components is PCs on correlations. That means that the centering and scaling happens automatically. Using the option to compute PCs on covariances would not center or scale the variables.

I am being asked to normalize sensor data with respect to one of my columns before I run a PCA. It was mentioned that there was a checkbox or something to do this in JMP. Is that true? Or do I need to do it manually column by column.

Any help would be great!
