Why is JMP unable to find my Excel files?

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but for some reason, JMP-14 is unable to locate any of my Excel files.

When I click File -> Open, nothing comes up. This is despite the fact that I have Excel files saved to my computer. There's a screenshot attacked to this. The left shows what is available to select from when I click File -> open. The right is what is actually in the Downloads folder. I tried saving the Excel sheet as a whole bunch of other file types, but JMP still does not find it.

Did I accidentally apply some sort of filter? All I did was hit File -> Open

Hi @Xantos ,

Yes you have a filter applied to only show .JMP files.

In the drop-down change from .JMP files to all files (*.*)

All Files

Unfortunately, my files still don't show up, even when I apply the "all" filter (Screenshot attached). Do you have any other ideas?

This isn't a Citrix or Windows Server installation is it?
