topic What regression model is used by Line of Fit in Graph Builder? in Discussions

I need to disclose in a report which regression model I used, e.g. least squares, Deming, Passing-Bablock. I achieved the regression with Line of Fit function in Graph Builder. Both X and Y are continuous variables. Two Qs:

What is the default regression model used by the Line of Fit function in Graph Builder?

Can the model be changed? (even if in JSL)

The Line of Fit in Graph Builder is a simple least squares model.

There are a few other methods (Polynomial, Robust Cauchy, and Time Series) available in Graph Builder.

The <LI-MESSAGE title="Method Comparison" uid="21520" url="https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Method-Comparison/m-p/21520#U21520" discussion_style_icon_css="lia-mention-container-editor-message lia-img-icon-tkb-thread lia-fa-icon lia-fa-tkb lia-fa-thread lia-fa"></LI-MESSAGE> add-in supports Demming and Passing-Bablock regression.
