topic Xbar control chart and labeling the average UCL, LCL in Discussions

I want to find a way to label the average and control limits on the control chart. for the sake of clear reporting, It would be great if the data mean was labeled right on the chart field or on the axis. of course, the limit summary is displayed to the right, but I need it to show up inside the graph. I could manually add the data label on the axis but it would be great if i could just toggle it as an option. how can i do this? is there a scripting solution.

This will be a platform option in Version 16 of JMP when it is released. Until then, you can use JSL to add a graphics script, use the annotation tool or something similar.

I am generating these graphics via script, so I'd actually prefer a JSL method of inserting a graphic which contains the avg. is there a way to have the graphic generated within the body of the graph AND have its input automatically generates. I'm trying to avoid manual formatting etc.
