Create a new column that has the categories you want. Then use Tables==>Summary to calculate the statistics. First generate the minimum for age, grouped by the binning column. Then to get the counts, the the Summary platform again, but this time group by both Age and the binning column.

For example, according to "Big class.jMP"
1. First, categorize by age.
2. Determine the minimum "weight" >90 for each age.
3. Figure out the number of age categories that meet the second condition.

So it turns out the number of ages is 3.

How can I use JSL to solve it quickly? Thanks!
