Merge row in header titles

Hi,

Using jsl I have imported an Excel file consisting of several sheets into jmp. In one of the sheets there is a header and a subheader and in jmp I would like to be able to join the subheader (1st row) in the header so that all information is contained in the header.

Can that be done?

Or can that be defined in the import somehow?

If you use JMP's Excel Wizard when you open the xls or xlsx file, you can specify to use multiple lines for the headers.

I´m doing the import through jsl as it will be used by others who are not experienced users.

Can this be specified in jsl?

Do the Wizard once, then look in the data table for the "Source" entry in the Table's Panel. Right click on the green arrow next to the word "Source" and select Edit. It will show you the JSL to use to open the files with multiple header rows.
