It is a JMP Pro feature. Do you have JMP Pro? Are you using JMP Pro?

It is used in marginal model inference for mixed models. Are you fitting a mixd model Are you using this inference?

There is some good information in the documentation if you look in the Mixed Models chapter. We added a bit more detail after this question arose, but please check out the documentation and let us know if you have additional questions about this.
