The Predictor Screening platform uses bootstrap forests for models. The contribution of each predictor is determined by this model. The description in JMP Help for bootstrap forests says:

– The total number of splits defined by a column.

Hi,

After running predictor screening the out put has a column named contribution , portion and rank . Is there any unit for contribution ? Is this % is so why the some of all the contributions doest end up to 100?
